When we feel lost—spiritually, emotionally, or even physically—Jesus promises that we are not without direction. Jesus doesn’t just point us toward the path; He walks it with us. He is the path.
In a world filled with countless paths, voices, and philosophies, Jesus offers a bold and comforting declaration: He is the way. Not just a way among many, but the way to God, to peace, to purpose, and to eternal life.
He is the truth. In times of confusion, when lies and half-truths cloud our judgment, Jesus stands as the unchanging, reliable source of truth. His words, His character, and His love reveal the heart of God and the reality of who we are meant to be.
He is the life. Abundant, eternal life. Through Him is life we were created for, intimate relationship with God. Life with meaning. Life that begins when you surrender to Him and stretches into eternity.
John 14:6
Happiness is found in worldly things, but happiness comes and goes.
Joy is eternal, and found in relationship with the living God. He is meaning and purpose. Joy is not defined by outside circumstances but promised to us when we seek the presence of God.
You will make known to me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
Psalm 16:11
Matthew 6:33

Asking Jesus Christ into your life is the single most important thing you can do. Pray to Jesus and ask him into your life, He will show up.
Prayer is not hard, but it should be meaningful.
Imagine talking to the One who loves you more than you've ever been loved.
Here is a simple guide to help you through prayer
Like in any relationship, the more you practice communication, the better you will be at understanding one another. A relationship with God is no different. Practice listening and you will hear.

"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path"
Psalm 119:105
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
2 Timothy 3:16
A great way to start this step is to do so with a Bible plan. There are plenty of Bible apps out there that help you put together a plan to make and keep it a part of your daily focus on your Faith.
I use the YouVersion Bible App. It has multiple plans to help you stay focused. It also has topics to study based on what you want to learn more about; Love, Healing, Joy, Anxiety, Anger, Depression.
Bible Project offers rich, trustworthy context for Scripture. Whether you're exploring a single verse or studying entire books of the Bible, this resource provides clarity, historical insight, and theological depth that you can rely on.

Jesus emphasized the importance of community and fellowship among his followers. In the New Testament, particularly in the Gospel of Matthew 16:18, Jesus says to Peter, "On this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."
This statement highlights the foundational role that the community of believers (the "church") would play in spreading the teachings of Jesus and continuing his mission on Earth.
The idea behind Jesus establishing the church was to create a space where believers could come together for worship, teaching, mutual support, and service to others. In Matthew 18:20, Jesus also says, "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." This suggests that the church is not just a physical structure but a living, breathing community bound together in faith.
The church is seen as a body of believers who are united by faith, sharing in the mission of spreading the love of God and serving others. Jesus' teachings call for love, compassion, forgiveness, and service, and the church serves as a place where these values can be nurtured and put into action in the world.

Life groups are a vital part of growing in your faith and building meaningful relationships within the church community.
In a life group, you'll find a place to connect with others, study the Bible, pray together, and support one another through life’s ups and downs. Scripture reminds us that “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17), and that we are called to “carry each other’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2).
Life groups also help us stay encouraged and accountable in our walk with Christ (Hebrews 10:24–25), experience the power of prayer in community (Matthew 18:20), and live out Jesus’ call to make disciples (Matthew 28:19).
This kind of connection complements other practices of faith—like personal devotion, Sunday worship, and serving—by deepening your spiritual journey and helping you live out your faith in everyday life.
Whether you're new to church or looking to grow deeper, life groups are a great next step.

This is one of my favorite ways of keeping His voice loud in my heart every day. I listen to SOS Radio. The songs they play point me to the goodness and faithfulness of Jesus Christ.
In a world with no shortage of distractions and empty offerings, it's important to remember that what we chose to fill ourselves with, we become.
When I first started listening to worship radio, some songs would be less interesting to me, but as I learned more about each song and the messages they were focusing on the more I was able to relate, and benefit from them.
Find your local worship station and set it as the #1 preset.

When you begin to submit your life to Jesus, one of the powerful shifts you’ll notice is how the media you consume starts to affect your heart and mind differently.
Much of today’s secular content subtly promotes a very different message: that you are the center of everything. It glorifies self-reliance, materialism, and instant gratification, often pushing the idea that you are your own god—that truth is whatever you decide it is. Over time, this can shape your thinking in ways that feel empowering on the surface but leave you spiritually empty.
It’s not just about what you watch—it’s about what you’re being taught to believe. What feeds your mind will eventually shape your heart. That’s why being intentional about the content you consume matters. Christian content—whether it’s a story of redemption, a message of hope, or a simple children’s show rooted in biblical truth—has a way of nourishing the soul. It reminds you that you’re not alone, that your life has purpose, and that there’s a loving God who strengthens you through every challenge. These kinds of stories don’t just entertain—they encourage reflection, peace, and a deeper connection to something greater than yourself.
Matthew 7:24-25
Below are helpful steps to build a life of joy, purpose, and fulfillment by grounding your life in Christian principles. Each step emphasizes God’s role in shaping your character, relationships, and daily actions, while the Bible provides guidance to keep you focused and aligned with His will.
Principle:
A life of joy, purpose, and fulfillment begins with putting God at the center of your life. Establishing a relationship with God through prayer, worship, and the study of His Word sets the foundation for everything else.
Step:
• Daily Prayer: Start and end each day in prayer, seeking God’s guidance, expressing gratitude, and asking for strength and wisdom.
• Scripture Reading: Dedicate time to reading and meditating on God’s Word, allowing His truth to shape your thoughts, decisions, and actions.
• Worship and Fellowship: Regularly engage in worship through church attendance and fellowship with other believers, strengthening your relationship with God and the Christian community.
Biblical Foundation:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” – Matthew 6:33 –
Prioritizing God and His will over everything else, is the key to finding fulfillment and purpose in life.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105 –
God’s Word guides us in all areas of life, helping us make wise decisions and live with purpose.
“Pray without ceasing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:17 –
Constant communication with God through prayer ensures that His presence and direction are integral to every aspect of our lives.
Principle:
True fulfillment is found in becoming more like Christ—through love, humility, and self-discipline. As you align your character with Christ’s example, you embody the values that bring joy and purpose to life.
Step:
• Practice Humility: Avoid pride and embrace humility, understanding that God is the ultimate source of strength and success.
• Grow in Love: Love others as Christ loved you—unconditionally, sacrificially, and selflessly. Seek reconciliation and forgiveness in relationships.
• Cultivate the Fruit of the Spirit: Allow the Holy Spirit to transform your character through love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Biblical Foundation:
“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others.” – Philippians 2:3-4 –
True fulfillment comes when we live for the good of others and not out of selfish ambition.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” – John 13:34-35 –
Love is the foundation of Christian life and the key to meaningful relationships and purpose.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” – Galatians 5:22-23 –
Developing Christlike character through the fruit of the Spirit leads to lasting joy and fulfillment.
A life of purpose is one that seeks to serve others and use your gifts to contribute to the greater good. God has a unique purpose for each person, and fulfilling that purpose brings joy and meaning to life.
Step:
• Identify Your Gifts: Reflect on your talents, passions, and opportunities. Seek God’s guidance in discovering your purpose and how you can serve others.
• Serve in Your Community: Look for opportunities to serve others—whether through your church, local charity, or acts of kindness in daily life.
• Work with Integrity: Pursue your professional life with honesty, diligence, and a commitment to excellence, knowing that work can be an expression of your worship.
Biblical Foundation:
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” – 1 Peter 4:10 –
God has given each person unique gifts, and using them in service to others fulfills our purpose.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” – Ephesians 2:10 –
Your life has purpose, and God has prepared good works for you to do, which bring meaning and fulfillment.
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.”
– Colossians 3:23-24 –
Your work is an offering to God, and when you serve with excellence, you honor Him and fulfill your purpose.
Principle:
True joy and fulfillment are experienced through authentic relationships with others. Fellowship with other believers and investing in healthy, loving relationships provides support, encouragement, and accountability.
Step:
• Prioritize Relationships: Invest in your relationship with your spouse, family, and friends. These relationships are central to your well-being and joy.
• Join a Christian Community: Become an active part of a local church or small group. Share in the joys and burdens of others, growing together in faith.
• Seek Accountability: Surround yourself with people who will challenge and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Let others help keep you accountable in your spiritual journey.
Biblical Foundation:
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up.” – Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 –
We are not meant to walk through life alone. Relationships provide support and strength.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” – Hebrews 10:24-25 –
Fellowship and encouragement from other believers are vital for growth and joy in our walk with God.
“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17 –
Accountability and friendship with others help refine our character and draw us closer to God’s purpose.
Principle:
Gratitude and contentment cultivate a heart of joy and peace, regardless of external circumstances. Trusting God’s provision and focusing on His blessings, rather than what is lacking, leads to fulfillment.
Step:
• Cultivate a Grateful Heart: Regularly reflect on the blessings you have and express gratitude to God for His provision, whether big or small.
• Practice Contentment: Resist the urge to constantly strive for more or compare yourself to others. Trust that God provides what you need in His perfect timing.
• Give Thanks in All Circumstances: Even in difficult times, practice thankfulness, knowing that God is with you through it all.
Biblical Foundation:
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 –
A life of gratitude, even in hardships, aligns with God’s will and brings joy.
“I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:11-13 –
Contentment, rooted in Christ, empowers you to face any situation with peace and joy.
“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” – Psalm 107:1 –
God’s goodness and love are constant reasons to give thanks.
